Civil Engineer

Licensed Civil Engineer with 4-6 years experience needed for established civil engineering, landscape architecture and planning firm near downtown Austin. Will be responsible for the development of all phases of infrastructure and land development projects throughout the project life cycle. This includes planning, subdivision, preliminary engineering, final engineering, and construction support.
Applicants should demonstrate strong leadership, design, communication, and broad technical knowledge of construction documentation including (but not limited to) detailing, materials, utilities, grading and drainage, hydraulics, hydrology, water quality design and field experience.
Opportunities exist to work on a variety of projects including retail, industrial, office, hospitality, financial, restaurants, and mixed-use. Unique regulatory, design and construction challenges will require out-of-the-box solutions in this fast-paced environment.
Skills required include proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, GIS and Microsoft Programs including Microsoft Project, with an emphasis on using Civil 3D for designing and profiling utilities and roadways.
