Job Summary

The Project Architect will work closely with company's integrated team of project engineers, architects and interior designers to develop plans and specifications for a variety of exciting project types. Working under the direction of the project manager you will gain knowledge and experience in all phases of design from feasibility studies, probable cost estimates, calculations and overseeing the production of construction documents plans, details, schedules, specifications.

Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to:

The Project Architect collaborates with the Project Manager and Principal in Charge and oversees the completion of assignments in a timely manner maintaining accuracy while adhering to all technical and standard procedures of the office. Analyzes and interprets project information. Coordinates and checks documents during design development, contract documents and bidding phases and compiles addendum information. Interprets bid documents during the bidding phase. Pre-Design graphics and renderings Programming and Schematic Design Construction Documents & Construction Administration Quality control of all design work Sales and Marketing Client Care and Communication.

OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

The Ideal Candidate will possess proficiency in the following general skills: Superb communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of other professionals and disciplines Ability to work in a fast-paced team setting and maintain a keen eye for design and details. Self-motivation, time management and organizational abilities Excellent Interpersonal and presentation skills. Critical thinker and problem-solving abilities Strong design portfolio. 5-10 years of experience in the architectural industry, including design of science and technology, corporate office and higher education highly desired. A thorough knowledge of building codes and regulatory standards. Professional Registration (AIA, NCRAB) Preferred Desire to pursue professional certifications such as LEED, WELL and RCDD desired, but not required
