Senior Commissioning Authority
Scope & Responsibilities: Manage multiple commissioning projects, including client interface, team coordination, and schedule & budget management; Contribute to improving commissioning processes and creating best practices; Perform detailed engineering peer reviews of construction documents; Perform technical analysis necessary to interpret building operation; Communicate to wide range of client stakeholders; Work effectively as a team member; Develop commissioning plans, reports, pre-functional and functional test procedures; Perform jobsite observations and field testing.
Required Qualifications: 5+ years of professional working experience, preferably as a Cx or CxA; Bachelor degree in Engineering or comparable experience; Understanding of HVAC and electrical system design and operation; Experience in the construction industry; Analytical and problem solving skills related to energy performance; Effective in working in a collaborative team environment; Strong listening and communication skills; Good time management and organizational skills; Excellent verbal and written English communication skills; Ability to travel for client engagements; Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently; Ability to climb ladders and safely get around construction sites; Reliable transportation.
Desired Qualifications: PE accreditation; Recognized Building Commissioning Certification; Knowledge of applicable codes, standards: CEC Title 24, CalGreen, ASHRAE, etc.
