Senior Project Designer / Architect/ Manager Workplace Practice

We are looking for an experienced, entrepreneurial "seller/doer" Senior Project Designer or Architect/Manager to lead and grow this new office/studio for our ever expanding workplace practice.

Position Description for Senior Project Architect or Designer/Manager:

• Studio Team

Knowledge/Skills:

• Seller/Doer -can hunt/win work and also do production/project management
• Demonstrates technical competence in architecture and/or interior design
• Licensed Architect or Interior Designer
• Can lead and manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously (including highly complex projects)
• Construction Drawings
• Strong leadership skills, EQ 
• Keen design sense and detail oriented
• Knowledgeable in REVIT and other design software
• Excellent written and oral communication with clients and staff
• Understanding of project phases and sequencing with an ability to prepare accounting project plans and proactively oversee project profitability
• Thorough knowledge of building codes, project costs, and contracts

Responsibilities:

• Performs tasks in each of the five project phases: Schematic Design, Design Development, Construction Documents, Bidding and Negotiation, and Construction Administration
• Management, supervision, and coordination of staff efforts and consultants on multiple projects of varying size and scope
• Effective planning, scheduling, and task and fee management of assigned projects from start to finish
• Tracks and controls billable hours/budget on each contract
• Successfully completes all contractual requirements on time and within budget, with a quality matching company values
• Maintains high client satisfaction to further client relationships
• Assists in marketing, business development and collections efforts when needed
• Requires little or no guidance and supervision by Studio Directors, Partners, and/or Managing Partner
