Job Description
Entry Level licensed or soon to be licensed Architect to work on variety of healthcare and commercial projects.
Primary responsibilities will be working with and direction of architectural staff on building design functions for various Civic, Commercial, and Healthcare Studio projects.
Responsibilities include preparation of conceptual and schematic design documents, design development, and construction documents including specifications to be used for permitting, bidding and construction.
Role also includes coordination with consulting engineers including Civil, Structural & M/E/P.
Designer may also work on construction administration tasks including shop drawing review, project inspections, client meetings and contractor interaction.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work with other disciplines including engineering disciplines, interior design, landscape architects, etc. to incorporate their efforts into the total building project.
- Prepare schematic, design development drawings, and construction documents.
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced office requiring interaction with other team members on a daily basis.
- Must be capable of managing multiple projects and an experienced architectural staff. Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft Office required, familiarity w/ Sketchup, Photoshop, and AutoCad 2019 a plus.
- Active Listening - Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, and asking questions as appropriate.
