We are an AIA member firm with a staff of 17 providing commercial architecture, space planning and interior design services from our office in Kirkland.  Since our founding in 1957 we have worked on a diverse variety of project types, but specialize in the design of human healthcare, animal healthcare and dental facilities.  While most of our projects are located in the greater Pacific Northwest region, our animal healthcare work is commissioned by clients throughout the United States. We are known for the quality of our services and our team approach to problem solving which leads to the establishment of many long-lasting client relationships.

 

We are looking for an Architectural Project Manager to fill a current position.  Your work will include all phases of a project including client contact, project management, programming, design, contract documentation, specification writing, bid assessment and construction administration services. Our projects are a mix of ground up new construction projects interior tenant improvements. 

 

Qualified candidates will hold an Architectural degree from an accredited university, hold an NCARB certificate, have a minimum of 12 years practical experience in the architectural field and a working knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, Word, Project and Excel.  Healthcare experience is a plus.  The ideal candidate will have a passion for architecture, leadership, accuracy, problem solving, learning every day, working within a team environment and the ability to see the “big picture”.  Good communication skills, self-motivation and organization skills are a must.

 

On a daily basis, our managers typically lead a small team of staff members, working on multiple projects, to find creative design solutions, manage project schedules and budget requirements while providing project coordination and collaborating with clients and other team members in the development and completion of design / contract documents that also include daily collaboration to support the principals’ activities.

 

Occasional regional travel will be required.  We also are featuring a rotating, in-office work schedule during the pandemic and offer flexible hours.
