Water/Waste Water Senior Engineer

$95,200 - $120,000 yearly
Full time Water/Waste Water Engineer

Job Description

We go to work every day to improve the quality of life in northern Colorado.  Our story began over 30 years ago shaped by the principles of our founders, and we continue to build on that foundation by creating meaningful relationships, providing exceptional customer service and technical expertise, and giving back to the communities we serve.  With offices in Greeley and Fort Collins, home to our family of engineers, surveyors, and administrative staff, we strive to improve our services continuously, take responsibility for our impact on others' lives, and deeply respect our team members and clients, and partners.  We work hard, and we play hard.

We provide sustainable, cost-efficient solutions to meet our clients' goals through land development, surveying, and infrastructure design.  We utilize the latest technology and design methods to solve problems and add value to every project.  In addition, our municipal team supports our growing northern Colorado communities by providing design review, public works services, and designs for capital improvement projects.  At the same time, our private development group supports the built environment and provides the places that our fellow residents need to live, work, and play.

From large master-planned and mixed-use communities to single-family residential developments, we take pride in living in the communities we work.  We spend our weekends golfing at courses that we have engineered and having dinner or shopping at the commercial and retail developments that we have brought to life.  Many of our staff live in the residential neighborhoods or multifamily communities we designed.  We ride our bikes, and our children play at parks and trails where our team's attention to detail envisioned every trip down the slide and curve in the path.  Our relationship with local school districts and institutions of higher education has allowed us to work on many of the schools that our families attend.  Our partnerships with municipalities and the local home building and development community enable us to serve our families and future generations in northern Colorado.

Improving the lives of our community starts with the lives of our employees.  We are committed to providing competitive compensation and benefits programs.  By evaluating benchmarks and trends annually, we aim to continuously improve our investments in our employees' lives and careers.

We are most interested in finding the best candidate for the job, and that candidate may come from a less traditional background.  Northern will consider any equivalent combination of knowledge, skills, education, and experience to meet minimum qualifications.  If you are interested in applying, we encourage you to think broadly about your background and skill set for the role.
