Camera-O’Neill Consulting Engineers is an expanding structural engineering firm located in the beautiful coastal town of Portsmouth, RI. We are looking for an experienced full-time Structural Engineer to help lead our team in office. We are in need of an ambitious candidate that is fluent in AutoCAD and must have the ability to produce structural designs and details for commercial and residential buildings under tight time constraints; knowledge of Revit is considered a plus. This person is required to have previously designed buildings and be proficient with steel, wood, and concrete. They need to be very reliable, hardworking, and self starter that enjoys a challenge. You would be joining an energetic team environment in our new office with potential for development and growth. We will be discrete with all candidate interactions.
Requirements:
-BS degree in engineering from an accredited school (Structural, Civil, or similar)
-EIT/FE certification minimum, PE preferred
-8+ years of structural design experience in the building design industry
-Previous experience leading others is a plus
-Familiarity in building codes and design standards
-Experienced in wood-framed construction
-Excellent AutoCAD skills
-Strong writing/grammar skills
-Detail oriented
-Able to communicate clearly, concisely, and professionally with Architects, Builders, and Owners
