We are seeking an experienced Construction Administration Manager to join our team for a project in Princeton, NJ. The role is a hybrid role, combining in-person on-site representation 2-3 days per week and 2-3 days per week off-site or remote in your location (or up to 5 days per week on-site if preferred). We are seeking a recognized leader in construction administration who provides technical leadership and acts as an advisor on large-scale projects.
The successful candidate must possess strong communication skills, a sense of urgency and responsiveness, a flexible attitude, the ability to solve problems creatively, and the ability to foster and manage effective client relationships. They will be responsible for high-impact decisions in the application of codes and building systems and take personal responsibility to ensure the responsiveness of architects and engineers throughout the construction of projects.

Job Responsibilities:
· Manages and leads team through Construction Phase Activities for a large-scale, high-profile project, including job site meetings, correspondence, submittals, and payment application reviews, and leading team meetings to discuss project issues, technical issues, and coordination with other disciplines, preparing and/or reviewing meeting minutes and other documents.
· Works closely and collaboratively with the Owner, Architect/Engineer Team, and Contractor representatives to build consensus and achieve project goals and requirements while upholding a healthy team working dynamic by employing standard protocol for communication with and between team members, including the Owner, Architect/Engineer team, and Contractor representatives.
· Performs site visits 3 days/week for observations and inspections and prepares field reports. Additional on-site presence may be required at times.
· Proactively applies knowledge of codes, university standards, and all types of building systems (architectural, civil, structural, etc.) to projects; Utilizing Building Information Modeling (BIM) to understand potential problems/solutions.
· Closely monitors, reviews, and manages: owner and/or contractor-directed changes for compliance with our basic services agreement; cost-related aspects of the project, administering change orders, proposed changes, construction change directives, substitutions, time delays and payment applications; Requests for Information (RFI) and submittals, maintaining current documentation via platforms such as Autodesk Construction Cloud, Newforma, etc.
· Inspects submittals to determine conformance with project contract documents, proactively communicating with design team to understand and uphold design intent and coordinating responses with Architect/Engineering Team keeping all teams informed throughout project lifecycle.
Qualifications:
· Accredited professional degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, Engineering, Construction Science, or related field preferred
· Architectural Registration preferred.
· Typically, 15+ years of experience
· Sustainable design accreditation preferred; knowledge of sustainable design registration requirements required.
· Proficiency with architectural software such as Revit, AutoCAD, Newforma, 3D modeling software and PDF-editing software preferred.
· Proficiency in MS Office Suite preferred.
· Strong knowledge of sustainability, building systems, and integrated design guidelines
· Strong knowledge of the Owner-Architect Agreement, Owner-Contractor Agreement and Architect-Consultant Agreements
· Advanced knowledge of architectural building systems, accessibility guidelines and QA/QC process
· Advanced knowledge of building codes and ability to research and apply/incorporate into technical documents.
· Experience with managing and performing duties in a fast-paced environment.
· Strong organizational skills and the ability to work on multiple tasks at the same time.
· Ability to communicate in a clear, concise, and professional manner both orally and in writing.
