Seeking Civil/Structural Engineer/Associate for Buildings & Structures Practice in Houston, TX. In this role you will work as part of a team responsible for performing tasks and executing projects related to failures in the built environment.
You Will Be Responsible For
- Inspecting, analyzing, and determining root causes of building performance failures
- Conducting analytical and computer problem solving processes and programs
- Performing field investigations and diagnostic surveys
- Gathering information from and convey technical conclusions to individuals in engineering, business, and industry
Skills And Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Civil/Structural Engineering
- P.E. or S.E. license or the ability to become licensed within two years in the State of Texas
- Excellent and creative problem solving ability
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of multi-disciplinary teams
- Strong desire to work in a fast-paced consulting environment
