Responsibilities:
- Work with business development to prepare proposals; manage budget; cost report; select contractors/vendors; and facilitate all construction meetings for commercial projects
- Work closely with Jobsite Superintendents to understand project status; review scheduling; update progress reports and other items related to each project
- Manage the financial aspects of a project from cost reports, to payments, estimates, labor and equipment, invoices and change orders
- Manage client relationship via building consensus, educating and working to consistently exceed client’s expectations
- Oversee , manage and mitigate risk in all projects
- Coach, train and manage Project Team through all areas of development with principle centered behavior
- Address and enforce all company policies and procedures
- Assume full responsibility for bid proposal process from working with the client; to bid pre-qualification; working with the Estimator; and all other bid related responsibilities, start to finish
- Assume key contact for Architect /Owner of a project
- Manage all plans, scope, proposals, drawings, ‘take-offs’ and other elements of the full project
- Review risk analysis with Principal of the plan and ensure conditions of Safety
- Act in a team-oriented capacity and provide excellent customer service while remaining accountable for ones actions
Skills/Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Commercial Construction
- Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or related field
- Ability to travel 20% of the time
- OSHA certification a plus
- Computer skills required
- Strong communication and customer service skills desired
