Mechanical (HVAC) Engineer / Designer

The Job: 

As a Mechanical (HVAC) Engineer / Designer, your responsibilities will include (but may not be limited to): 

• Mechanical (HVAC system) design and layout
• Load calculations
• Selecting commercially available equipment
• Coordination with architects, building owners, and general contractors
• Specification development
• HVAC design coordination with plumbing and electrical disciplines
• Collaboration with Team Members at all levels

The successful candidate will have: 

• BSME 
• Entry-level to 5 years’ experience
• Experience with HVAC load calculations and duct sizing 
• Ability to perform multiple functions in a fluid multi-deadline environment
• EIT certification, or interest in obtaining

Preferred qualifications for this role will include: 

• Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit MEP
• Working knowledge of Energy modeling (EnergyPlus and Trane Trace)
• LEED accreditation, or interest in obtaining
• Excellent communication and time management skills
