Responsibilities;
Create Schematic, Design development and Construction Drawings
Prepare Documents for client review
Generate documents for permits and Construction
Coordinate details with Manufacturers
Collaboration with consultants, interior designers, engineers etc.
Reviewing and applying applicable building codes
Reviewing and coordinating shop drawings
Travel to construction sites or client meetings as required
Field measure and documentation of existing field conditions
A great candidate would have:
Passion for Architecture
A working knowledge of building & construction,
Strong design skills,
Residential Construction knowledge.
Good CAD hygiene,
Strong ability to communicate with others,
Ability to work independently and/or as part of a team
A basic understanding of building codes,

Work will generally be performed Monday through Friday during regular business hours and will average 40 hours per week.
Professional, friendly & open studio environment in the Church Hill neighborhood of Richmond.
Occasional travel is expected as it relates to each client.

We social distance in the office and are typically under 6 personnel total in the office at one time.
Bachelor of Architecture or experience equivalent
3+ years of professional experience
AutoCAD a must
Technical proficiency in Outlook, & Word
Revit & Photoshop a plus
Hand-drawing skills welcomed
