Architect/Designer

ABOUT THE JOB

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our team. The candidate must be organized, articulate, and able to assist with all phases of construction/design services from pre-design through furnishings procurement. Knowledge of FF&E solutions as well as the development of interior details, cabinetry and millwork design will be expected.
Flexibility will be required while we follow COVID-19 guidelines to ensure the safety of the valued members of our Studio; collaboration through technology will supplement in-person Studio and Site meetings.

REQUIREMENT FOR APPLICANTS

5 Years minimum experience.
Professional Degree in Architecture or Interior Architecture.
A self-starter with strong organizational skills, an eye for detail, and willingness to work through challenges.
Excellent verbal, written and visual communication skills.
Proficiency in ArchiCAD, Photoshop and Microsoft Office.
Experience generating all phases of project documentation, from Design Presentation through Construction Documents.
A good understanding of interior finishes, materials, furniture, lighting, fixtures, budgets and procurement for high end residential projects.
Certification or state licensure is a plus.
Must have own transportation within the Chicago area.

Compensation: Salary commensurate with level of education, experience and qualifications.
