Typical responsibilities may include the following: Perform design, modeling, analysis, and permitting for municipal and land development engineering projects. Analyze survey reports, maps, drawings, aerial photography, and other topographic or geologic data to plan projects. Design water distribution and wastewater collection systems and perform calculations to size those systems. Assist in all aspects of stormwater design including hydraulic analyses, drainage control system design, water quality improvement design, and erosion and sedimentation control. Understand and apply applicable regulations (FDEP, FDOT, WMDs, USACE, and local governments and utilities), demonstrate compliance with appropriate design criteria, and process applications through permitting agencies.
