Seeking a full-time Geotechnical/Civil Engineer with mid-level experience (5 to 15 years) to work in Jefferson City office. This position is a track to firm Principal. The successful candidate will work with the Principal Geotechnical Engineer/Vice President to take over a 30+ year central Missouri geotechnical practice. Strong report writing, verbal communication skills, and education/experience in: soil mechanics; subsurface investigations; slope stability analysis; construction methods; AutoCAD Civil 3D; and plans/specs required. Will work as project engineer on geotechnical, civil, environmental, and construction quality assurance projects, including field investigations, report writing, planning, permitting, design and construction. Minimum BS (MS preferred) in civil or geological engineering. Minimum MO Engineering Intern, but P.E. preferred. Some travel, valid driver’s license, and clean driving record required. Competitive wages based on qualifications and experience.
