We are  looking for a full-time entry to mid -level Civil Engineer to support their engineering design team in Carlsbad, CA. The Civil Engineer will work under the direction of a Project Manager, and work with other engineers , designers, and technicians in the preparation of grading, roadway, site development, and utility (sewer, water, and storm drain) plans and reports. Other tasks will include project property research, preliminary designs and tentative maps, boundary, and easement plotting, as well as survey and construction staking calculations. Requirements: The Civil Engineering candidate should have: • A minimum of 2 -5 years of relevant design experience • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field • Strong AutoCAD and Civil 3D skills (proficiency in MicroStation a plus) • Knowledge of hydrology and water quality design • Proficiency in MS Office applications (e.g., Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.) • Good oral and written skills
