We are looking for a Project Engineer to join our team. The position will work on a diverse range of storm water solution projects along with water, wastewater, and transportation. The preferred candidate will be an EIT or P.E. with a minimum of 3 years of storm water design experience. Salary will be based upon experience. Requirements • BS degree in Civil Engineering or related • EIT or P.E. certified • At least 3 years of relevant experience with a civil engineering consulting firm • Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3D • Ability to build plan sets and other construction documents • Design experience in detention ponds, site design, drainage and field studies. How will you contribute to the team? Executes complex assignments relating to planning, designing and preparing plans related to water and wastewater infrastructure including modeling and planning efforts, distribution, collection, and transmission pipelines; pump and booster, as well as lift stations; reservoirs; water supply and water/wastewater treatment systems. Develops Technical Engineering Documents including Reports, Specifications, Permits, Cost Estimates, Quantities, and Construction Plans. Comprehends hydraulic modeling and performs analysis. Assists with supervision of multidiscipline teams with staff of varying experience. Monitors/manages design and development of plans and drawings, which may include the development of preliminary layout and/or final drawings.
